About

The reason I engage in artistic creation primarily stems from my pursuit of beauty and a spirit of exploration into the unknown. This spirit of exploration fascinates me, and through continuously learning and refining my design concepts, methods, and tools, I can better realize my pursuit of beauty. This process greatly stimulates my passion for creation and serves as the driving force behind my wholehearted dedication to creating art.
My works are a manifestation of the inner dialogue I have with myself, showcasing my ongoing imagination and refine- ment of the expectations, concepts, and beauty I wish to portray in each piece. I’ve noticed that many newcomers to the fields of fashion or design lack clarity in their design processes and objectives and struggle to plan the timeline and steps of a project effectively. In contrast, I am constantly improving these processes and steps, capturing the inspiration for my works more swiftly and effectively, bringing the final results closer to my ideal of beauty.
I realize that both professionals and non-professionals may lack sufficient theoretical support to understand beauty; they can only perceive beauty based on their feelings. However, as a designer, I need a wealth of theoretical knowledge and practical experience to perfect my works so that they can be accepted and appreciated by the public. My works aim to bring pleasurable enjoyment to the audience, attracting them at first glance and continually drawing them in to discover new highlights.
During the design process, I consider the perspective of the audience, asking myself whether I would buy the piece and what its value is. This is a straightforward and simple standard for measuring the value of a design. The value of a work is not only reflected in its ability to attract people but also in the price it can command, which is a reflection of the work’s value in the public’s eyes.
Having established a relatively complete aesthetic system, I have certain aesthetic requirements for my works. I hope that the works can make people stop and look, attracting them to keep coming back and generating the desire to pur- chase. This is a process of repetition, forgetting, and re-engagement, but this sense of memory is cumulative. With the development of the times, emerging technologies and design auxiliary tools are constantly being updated. Designers need to consider the application frequency and scope of these technologies and familiarize themselves with the sensory experiences that these new media and technologies bring to people. As designers, we need to play two roles: one as the designer creating beauty and the other as the audience experiencing beauty. During the design process, we need a reference point and need to step out of the design constraints to feel each step of the design and consider wheth- er the product can make the audience feel it well and understand the meaning the work wants to express. If we only view the work from the designer’s perspective, the new discoveries, explorations, and attempts made during the design process may lead us astray.
